Purdue is aBrand That Matters

For the second year in a row, Purdue University is the only university named to Fast Company’s list of “Brands That Matter.” Launched in 2021, Fast Company’s inaugural list of Brands That Matter named 95 organizations whose work gives people compelling reasons to care about them, offers inspiration for others and authentically communicates their mission and ideals. Of those 95, only 13 made a follow-up appearance on this year’s list.
Together, we’re engaged in the persistent pursuit of a world-class education for all. Purdue has created new pipelines to higher education through Purdue Polytechnic High Schools. And each year, we’re helping thousands of students — including many working adults — complete their degrees with Purdue Global. In West Lafayette, Indiana — back where it all started — we’ve kept tuition frozen at 2013 levels, saving students and their families more than $1 billion.

Purdue Global Chancellor Frank Dooley: The Future Is Fueled by Education

I didn’t think I could be more excited than last year when Purdue was honored as an inaugural Fast Company “Brand That Matters” with the likes of Nike and McDonald’s. But being one of only 13 brands worldwide to be chosen again, and again the only university, recognizes how intentional we have been about brand building based on our amazing product and what we stand for. It is a privilege to be recognized in this way and I congratulate everyone involved.
